Orbit Industries is certified and authorized by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (A.S.M.E.) to fabricate unfired (U) pressure vessels and certified by the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors to perform repairs (R) on pressure vessels.Orbit can design, fabricate, test, document and stamp pressure vessels to ASME, Section VIII, Division I specifications. Our years of experience as a NQA-1 and ASME code fabricator allow us to utilize a wide variety of materials, including Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Nickel and Exotic Alloys.
A 30" diameter by 60" long separator tank fabricated from 10 gauge SA-T316L stainless steel. Designed and built with a domed head and flat bottom to ASME Section VIII, Div. 1 pressure vessel specifications, featuring a 12" diameter inlet and outlet with a 4" drain. |
Featured above are two of eight 72" diameter "Ion Exchange" pressure vessels fabricated by Orbit Industries. These ASME code pressure vessels are constructed from 1-1/4" thick T-304 stainless steel and rated for 600 PSIG service pressure. All weld seams were 100% radiography examined.
"Ion Exchange" pressure vessels installed on site. Orbit Industries can fabricate all the pipe spooling necessary for complete installation of tanks and vessels.

The stainless steel pressure vessel shown above was Fabricated per ASME Section VIII, Div.1 Stamped with Orbit Industries' (U)stamp and registered with the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors.
Two 16" diameter by 36" long portable pressure vessels fabricated, hydrotested and stamped with our ASME (U) Stamp. These vessels were fabricated from SA-36 carbon steel, sand blasted and primed for painting. Service was on a movie set while a major motion picture was being filmed in Portland Oregon.
